The CINÉ-TRIO is the fruit of a friendship between three musicians who graduated the same year from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris: Philippe Barbey-Lallia, Cyril Baleton and Timothée Oudinot. Their common passion for film music inspired them to create the trio when they were still students. Since then, the CINÉ-TRIO has nearly 400 unique arrangements of themes among the most famous compositions for cinema, from the 30s to today.
The CINÉ-TRIO is especially attentive to young audiences and offers educational concerts with a constantly renewed and adapted repertory.
In their first four CD albums, the CINÉ-TRIO offers a selection of the most beautiful pieces written for the silver screen with arrangements that are particularly faithful to the original themes. With flamboyantly lyrical passages and intimate melodies, the trio invites music lovers on a journey to the heart of the 7th Art.
